Why Trinity

Three reasons our clients stay.

We’re a boutique accounting practice built on long-term client relationships, offering personalised tax, accounting, and advisory services to businesses and organisations across Sydney.

  • Longevity that compounds

Twenty-three years in practice as of 2026. Same firm, same principal, same standards since 2003. Some clients have been with us almost the whole way. The work compounds, and so does the trust. Over four hundred SMSFs managed and thousands of tax returns lodged.

  • Everything under one roof

Tax, books, advisory, SMSF, Xero. One team that knows your business. No handoffs between firms, no missed details between specialists, no questions you have to answer twice. Numbers flow cleanly from books to BAS to tax return because the same people are looking at all of them.

  • We pick up the phone

We are old-fashioned about this. You get a name, a direct line, and someone who actually knows your file. We watch for trends, flag issues before they become fines, and call when something needs attention. Most clients hear from us between quarters, not just at lodgement time.

Bookkeeping problems

Bookkeeping that stops being right somewhere along the way.

You hired a bookkeeper. They were friendly, the price was reasonable, and the books got done each month. For a while everything was fine.

Then BAS came in late one quarter. Reconciliation slipped a month behind. You started checking receipts yourself just to keep things moving. The Xero file looked correct on the surface, but at year-end the accountant flagged miscoded GST, double-claimed expenses, and a quarter where super was missed entirely.

It happens often. Bookkeeping is high-volume work, and high-volume work drifts when nobody is reviewing it systematically. Trinity treats bookkeeping the same way we treat tax: senior eyes on the file, weekly checks rather than monthly catch-up, and reconciliation before the BAS gets prepared.

  • Always behind

BAS scrambled together at the last minute. Records weeks out of date by the time you need them.
  • Reconciliation drift

Bank and Xero stop matching over time. Hard to track down where the gap originated.
  • Coding accuracy slips

Categories drift away from the original chart of accounts. The tax outcome ends up larger than it needed to be.
  • Reports that change nothing

P&L lands in your inbox each month. It does not change a single decision you make.
What you actually need is books that are right when you ask, not just books that are done.

Bookkeeping outcomes

What clean books actually unlock.

Less time on admin. Cleaner records. Better decisions because the numbers are current.

  • Access Anywhere

Your books are always available online. Check your finances from your phone, office, or while you're out on site.
  • Real-Time Visibility

See up-to-date profit & loss, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. Make decisions based on current data, not last month's numbers.
  • BAS-Ready Books

Your books are coded and reconciled ready for BAS lodgement. No last-minute scrambling come tax time.
  • Free Up Your Time

Stop doing data entry yourself. We handle the bookkeeping so you can focus on what you do best—growing your business.
  • Seamless Integration

Xero connects with your bank, invoicing software, and our tax service. One integrated system, less manual work.
  • Secure & Compliant

Cloud-based, encrypted, and backed up automatically. Your financial data is protected and audit-ready.

Monthly rhythm

Assessment, setup, ongoing rhythm.

Same process for every new engagement. You know what is happening and when.

  • Assessment

We review your current books, understand your business model, and identify gaps. No surprises—just a clear roadmap.

    • Review current bookkeeping setup and Xero file health
    • Audit GST coding, payroll setup, and reconciliation gaps
    • Identify missing automations and integration opportunities
    • Map workflow with you and agree on monthly cadence
  • Setup & Cleanup

We set up Xero (or clean up your existing file), reconcile bank accounts, and code your transaction history. Your system is now ready.

    • Reconcile bank accounts, AP/AR, and resolve discrepancies
    • Recode transactions where GST or category was wrong
    • Set up bank rules, recurring transactions, and templates
    • Configure payroll, super, and reporting templates
  • Ongoing Service

Month by month, we handle data entry, reconciliations, and reporting. You get accurate books and peace of mind.

    • Weekly or monthly bank reconciliation across all accounts
    • Payroll processed on schedule with super and PAYG
    • Quarterly BAS prepared, reviewed, and lodged direct to the ATO
    • Monthly financial reports delivered with short commentary

  • Professional services

Lawyers, consultants, designers, agencies. Trust accounts, time-based billing, project profitability. Clean books for a billable practice.

About Trinity Accounting

A small firm by design.

Trinity Accounting Practice opened in Beverly Hills in 2003. Ramy Hanna, a registered tax agent and Fellow of three Australian accounting institutes, has run it since. The firm has stayed deliberately small, deliberately local, and deliberately senior. The principal you talk to today is the principal who will be reviewing your return next October.

Most of our work comes from referrals. Most clients have been with us for years, some for decades. We think that says more about the work than any award would.

Bookkeeping questions, answered honestly.

Most clients have the same handful of questions before they hand the books over. Here are the answers we give every time.

Our bookkeeping fees depend on transaction volume, complexity, and the services you need. We offer transparent, fixed monthly fees so you know exactly what you’re paying. During your free consultation, we’ll provide a personalised quote based on your business needs.

If you don’t have Xero yet, we’ll set it up for you and configure it to suit your business. If you already use Xero, we’ll review your setup and make improvements if needed. Either way, we’ll get you onto a system that works.

Yes. BAS preparation and payroll processing are included in our bookkeeping service. Because we handle your books and tax compliance, we ensure your BAS is correct and filed on time, and your payroll is processed accurately.
